BIMstream provided full reality capture and digital twin services for the 75 Ames Street research facility, covering over 582,000 sq. ft. including plenum-level MEP systems. Using NavVis VLX, Leica RTC360, and GeoSLAM Revo RT, the team scanned 374,004 sq. ft. of visible surfaces and 208,407 sq. ft. of above-ceiling MEP systems, producing LOD 200/300 Revit models segmented by trade with detailed room data fields aligned to Broad Institute standards.
Deliverables included a full 2D documentation set covering floor plans, RCPs, elevations, and schedules, along with hosted 360° imagery and merged point clouds via BIMstream CERQA for remote team access and lifecycle planning. The resulting digital foundation supports asset management, lab planning, infrastructure upgrades, tenant improvements, and compliance initiatives across this high-performance research environment.
