BIMstream partnered with Gensler to deliver comprehensive reality capture and digital twin modeling for the 978,000 sq. ft. tower at 5 Times Square, one of Midtown Manhattan's most iconic commercial properties. The scope encompassed core and shell modeling along with detailed coverage of key program areas including the Level 04 amenity floor, Level 05 conference center, and Level 38 triple-height MEP space, captured across 12 interior mobile LiDAR shifts using NavVis VLX and 3 exterior terrestrial LiDAR shifts using Leica RTC360 and Leica P50 sensors.
Deliverables included LOD 100 to 300 Revit models, 360° imagery, and fully registered scan data structured to align with the client's Revit template, along with a complete 2D drawing set covering floor plans, RCPs, elevations, and 3D visualizations. The full project from cellar levels to rooftop was executed efficiently within an active, occupied environment, providing Gensler with a precise as-built foundation to support design, leasing, and asset management across this complex multi-use high-rise.
