BIMstream partnered with the Faculty of Arts & Sciences at Harvard University to perform aerial capture of Memorial Hall, producing a high-resolution reality mesh to support the building's roof renovation. Covering 386,000 sq. ft. across 11 acres, the aerial data replaced traditional handheld DSLR imagery, offering a faster, safer, and more complete view of the structure while delivering an accurate, high-fidelity 3D mesh for design and construction planning.
BIMstream also developed a full BIM model of the Hall, coordinating closely with structural engineering firm LeMessurier to ensure accuracy across building systems. Renderings and visualizations derived from the Revit model were provided to support project presentations and inform key design decisions throughout the renovation process.
