BIMstream's field engineers scanned and modeled the Bapst Library at Boston College in partnership with Grande Masonry, focusing on the building's façade and intricate ornamental moldings. To achieve the required level of precision across approximately 30 square feet of detailed surface area, the team utilized Artec Eva structured light scanning technology, known for producing highly accurate, textured 3D models with exceptional surface fidelity.
The resulting textured 3D models and CAD drawings were delivered to Boston College to support detailed façade renovation and restoration planning, contributing to the university's ongoing preservation of this historic architecture.
