The team at BIMstream hit the streets of Philadelphia to complete a two day long project at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Precision was of utmost importance which required a site survey.
Our team was tasked with scanning and modeling the north facing wing of the building as well as the adjacent parking garage. The purpose of this project was to provide a geolocated and accurate measurement of the buildings and alley in order to construct a new wing where the old garage stood, and connect the two buildings with a sky bridge. Our team used a variety of LiDAR scanners, including a mobile LiDAR scanner as well as a terrestrial one to gather the necessary information.
