BIMstream scanned, mapped, flew (yes, actually flew drones inside the theater), and modeled the historic Wang Theater for Wilson Butler in support of the new Roots American Folk Museum renovations.
We used a combination of Leica terrestrial scanners and GeoSLAM mobile LiDAR scanners. Working with such experts in the field as Wilson Butler was incredibly rewarding. Theaters are a special use case and one that we hope to continue to work on in the future.
BIMstream provided the Wang Theater model to Epic Games for a webinar on Unreal Engine 5 for Architecture. Images that were rendered using UE5 are noted.
