In our hometown of Duxbury MA, the team at BIMstream had the chance to scan an oyster farm located right on Duxbury Bay. Our scan utilized different mobile LiDAR sensors as well as drones to capture the campus and provide an accurate site model and spatial assessment of all of the buildings.
We covered approximately 11 acres of the campus in our photogrammetry drone missions. We had the chance to worked through all of the unique systems they use to fuel their farm, including a “nursery” where their oysters are provided with different nutritions. Located on the campus is our office, so it was a great opportunity to explore the farm and work with our own property managers.
