The team at BIMstream scanned and modeled an airport in Goodyear, Arizona. Over the course of one week our team was able to capture a number of offices, hangers, and other property on the airport’s campus amounting to 383,400sf. To complete this project our team employed four people with the use of mobile and terrestrial LiDAR. Not all areas were easily accessible and so we were able to coordinate with the pilot training school as well as the Luftwaffe personnel to gain access where required to complete our scan. In addition to the collection of LiDAR data, we collected 360° images to help build the model.
