BIMstream’s field engineers were tasked with scanning and modeling Bapst Library for Boston College. Our scan was focused primarily on the facade and moldings.
In order to capture this data we utilized different technology than we have in our personal inventory, this being the Artec Eva, a structure light scanner that excels in building accurate and textured 3d models. Boston College used the CAD drawings we provided to aid in renovation of the facade.
